In 2010 I ran into Colette while in Atlanta Georgia at a church function. After a long conversation I then met her younger sister, her boyfriend and a few of their friends. Three years later I would be flying to Toronto to photographer her younger sisters wedding. It was one of my most favorite weddings at that time. Two years later I’d be back in Toronto to photograph Colette and Pascal’s musical themed wedding. Having spent a lot of time with them and getting to know them on a personal level, they are really amazing together. And talk about talent? OMG! They are freakishly beastly when it comes to being musicians.
Now lets talk about the wedding day. The summer Canadian sun let us know it wasn’t going anywhere for a while. Nonetheless we acknowledged its presence and went to work. The sun could tell we were getting drained and decided that after the processional it would give us a break and hide behind the clouds. Thirty seconds into taking the bridal party photos what decided to surprise us? Rain and a serious temperature drop. It poured and it poured while washing away the decor that was setup for the inside/outside reception space. The newlyweds didn’t let that stop them from partying with their friends and family. I am honored to have been a Dallas Fort Worth Wedding Photographer and still be able to be of service to my Toronto family for the second time. One more sister to go 🙂
