A couple months ago I received an email from Expertise.com which made my smile. There was an organization doing research on the top wedding photographers in Fort Worth Texas and I was part of the discussion. It was a humbling experience to say the least. What excited me the most was the fact that, I didn’t send a link for my friends and colleagues to vote for me. It wasn’t a popularity contest. The 6 most important items are as listed below.
A history of delighted customers as a signal of outstanding service. I believe in business you usually get one opportunity to impress your clients. Having a great reputation helps. You can’t take a clients money then file bankruptcy leaving them out to dry. You can’t tell them one thing, do something completely opposite and expect to maintain a stellar reputation. Reputation has always been important to me and I plan on continuing building mine.
Building customer confidence with licensing, industry accreditations, and awards. Anyone can win popularity contest but are you respected as a business owner? Are their anything credible to build your brand? Credibility through legitimate publications, awards and recognition has been a goal I set you from the very start.
Masters of their craft, based on years of practical experience and education. As an artist I have always said I wished I started my business 15 years ago. However, since I can’t go back in time all I can do is continue to grow, surround myself with amazing talent so that I can thrive with the best of the best. I invest in my education and help others along the way. Iron always sharpen iron.
Consistently approachable and responsive, so customers never feel ignored. I am not the most patient person so I always keep that in mind. I don’t like clients waiting on me. Being responsive has booked me more clients than I can count. I find it strange that brides are blown away that I’m able to respond to inquiries within a few hours. I am not always available to answer emails, however I have a great team who ensures all responses are done in an appropriate timeframe. Brides now reach me on snapchat, whatsapp, instagram, text messages and email. When I’m traveling they always know because of the way we communicate.
Providing customers a seamless experience both online and off. After the wedding day, I want to make sure we can still hang out, have dinner or share a glass of wine. Experience the entire Teshorn Jackson Photography level of service is the most important thing to my business. I want my clients to rave about the way they were treated.
Actively engaged with their customers across a number of platforms. As a social butterfly, you can expect to connect with me in every format possible. I’ve had a few connect with me via the new platform Marco Polo. No matter where you are, you can expect to find me there.
